Screen & Webcam Recorder

Most "free" screen recorders are anything but: a 40MB desktop install with bundled toolbars, a watermark slapped across your footage, a hard 5 or 10 minute recording cap, and your recording uploaded to their cloud before you can download it. We built this recorder because your browser has a native screen-recording engine built in — one that records straight to your own device, with no time limit and no watermark, and the only install required is the tab you already have open.

How it works: 1) Click Record and choose what to capture — your entire screen, one window, or a browser tab (your browser shows its own picker; nothing is shared without that explicit confirmation). 2) Optionally toggle your microphone for narration, and your webcam as a picture-in-picture overlay. 3) Stop when you're done and the file downloads immediately — recorded and stored entirely on your device, never on ours.

Recording uses the browser's native MediaRecorder with hardware-accelerated capture where available. The result is a high-quality WebM (or MP4 on Safari) at your display's resolution, up to 1080p+ depending on your screen.
