Book to Audiobook (AI Narrator)

Audiobook subscriptions charge monthly and still don't have your PDFs, fan fictions, or the obscure title you actually want to hear. Cloud "read aloud" converters upload your entire book to their servers and narrate it on machines you pay for by the minute. This tool runs the narration model on YOUR device, so it costs nothing to run and your book never leaves your browser.

How it works: 1) Drop an EPUB (or plain .txt) in — chapters are listed with word counts and honest time estimates. 2) Choose the language, one of the narrator voices, and a speed; pick exactly which chapters you want (the first three are preselected, because a whole book takes real processing time). 3) The Kokoro-82M model (~90MB, downloaded once and cached, works offline afterwards) narrates chapter by chapter with a progress bar, then you download a lossless WAV or a smaller MP3.

The EPUB is parsed locally (zip container + reading order), the text is narrated at ~150 words per minute by default, and the chapters are stitched with natural pauses. Being honest about limits: like all current text-to-speech, the narration is serviceable rather than human — great for articles, drafts, and accessibility; not a substitute for a professionally narrated novel.
